The Binding of Isaac: Super Bum's Big Break

i know absolutely nothing about binding of isaac but i like when he says things like "YOOO COLON OF THE DAMNED" i just sit there twirling my hair and nodding my head

he traded red stew for birthright, and regretted it for the rest of his life. he's more like esau than jacob.

I have watched this man play isaac for hundreds of hours and only now realized "bum" refers to the fact that they're beggars, not because this game has a questionable level of poop/butt jokes in it. The more you know.

I love watching these highlights without knowing a single thing about Binding of Isaac. I feel like an 85-year-old man who stumbled onto somebody playing a video game for the first time. Grayfruit's always some twisted amalgamation surrounded by ten billion little creatures talking about like, Esau's Bee or some other previously unheard of item like it's an old friend, and then everything on the screen either duplicates, transforms, or explodes. Not knowing where the game ends and presumably numerous mods begin also adds to the mystique.

21:20 fun fact: the game has a familiar limit of 64 You had so many familiars that the game had to despawn the ones that were active so it could spawn the inactive ones. That created an infinite loop of despawning active familiars so it could respawn inactive familiars

The fact that Super Bum was instrumental to this gamebreak is fucking legendary

I'm pretty sure your familiars despawned during the soul of lilith break due to your familiars hitting a cap. Once they hit the cap, new familiars cause the oldest to despawn but familiars immediately respawn when that happens, causing the now oldest familiar to despawn and reappear, causing an infinite loop of vanishing familiars.

as someone who isnt really that into isaac, watching mr fruit play this is like watching an alchemist devise a devious elixir using techniques and knowledge far beyond my understanding

No matter how difficult Breadmund makes breaking the game Mr. Fruit always finds a way

This VOD is definitely worth watching in its entirety, even after you watch the video

grayfruit knowing who slugcat is leaves me parched for a short but infuriating rain world stream that doesn’t go as far as the second region

The craziest thing about this video is that this could be done vanilla; all the mods he has (to my knowledge) are either cosmetic or quality of life

This is the most jawdroppingly nuts run I've seen in post-patch Repentance. The entire stream is worth a watch. And it's all thanks to Superbum!

The sheer joy Grayfruit gets out of every single cat coin is giving me new life. I aspire to be as delighted by life as Grayfruit is by a sticky nickel flipping him off.

The day this vod came out, I was fasting my brain from serotonin, and decided to watch some relaxing grayfruit gaming before bed after the day of not using internet. It would be an understatement to say that this fucked me up, especially the card against humanity part
