Hey guys, thanks so much for all the kind words! I appreciate ya'll pointing out the goofs I made in explaining some things. I'm still getting used to this game review format. Hopefully I'll get better over time 😎

In case you didn't google it after making this video; The companion limit isn't 2, It's based on your charisma. For every two charisma points you get one companion.

The significance of the crashed vertibird is that its the first vertibird in fallout, your not supposed to know what that is before playing and be shocked that “wait? People are flying helicopters?”

Fallout 1 - Ian shooting your back with 9mm SMG Fallout 2 - Marcus shooting your back with the body shredding minigun Now that's some evolution!
  • The money issue has been mentioned a few times, but let's clarify it a little. Bottlecaps was the currency in Fallout 1 because the water merchants in the hub put up clean water as a currency backing due to them running a water putifing plant. In Fallout 2 the water merchants have been absorbed by the NCR, and the government have replaced the currency with NCR dollar.

Now we have to wait another year for a Fallout 3 review

1:38 That's AC / Armor Class. The AP / Action Points are the green dots above the active inventory item (or yellow for movement-specific-AP)
  • Nobody ever talks about how there is a HUUUGE bong next to the village elder in the opening cutscene
  • @Obduleo
It's stated in the manual of Fallout 1 that the Pip-2000 is infact wrist mounted.
  • @Smiley_Garreson
I absolutely adored your first Fallout video, and this video is incredibly great
  • 6:20 V.A.T.S Was introduced in Fallout 3 in the classics this mechanic was simply called aimed attack.

FO2 is my favorite of the series. I've made a bare knuckled marshal artist that only wore leather armor and could take a shotgun blast to the face to no ill effect (because subdermal armor plating) and that could toss around a professional soldier in power armor like a rag doll till they ran in fear (yeah, it was still really hard to do damage through power armor till the 'ignores armor' or 'instant death critical effect came up'). I've also made a heavy gunner build with a 95% critical rate that could cut down the final boss in one round (because OG sniper was supremely overpowered and thanks to save scumming the scan by the thinly veiled Scientology parody). New Reno was the reason there was gambling limits in New Vegas.

Points at armor class : these are your action points. Oh no no no no......

For the citizenship test in VC, you'll need 9 perception 9 intelligence and 9 luck For the companions, if you have a higher charisma you can have more than 2 companions For example: if you have five charisma you can have 2 companions, if you have 7 charisma i don't know how much you can have Yummy
  • @xoticalpha432
There's a speech check at the beginning, you don't HAVE TO fight the guy at the end of the tutorial. I selected this option by accident thinking he wasn't gonna listen and engage regardless
  • @raifthemad
You can also use skills in FO1-2 by hitting the corresponding number key first skill from the top is 1 second 2 etc. Since the more often used ones like lockpick, steal, stealth are among the first 5 numbers, they're easy to hit without looking.
  • i love the dynamic between big buff man and just guy depending on the scene
  • @JohnSmith-dg6kp
Man I loved this sorta game review and the animation definitely added alot to the video! Please do a second half!
  • @purplebatdragon
Finally, a fursona with more than 3 poses! But really, great stuff here. Full animations in a review definitely elevates it above all others in my eyes.
  • @HaterOfReddit
Absolutely great video and I always love to see any videos on the OG fallouts! Keep up the great work!
