Well, as a German, I am absolutely proud of how our team played against these „superstars“. Yes we lost the game, but they played as a team and with all their hearts. If I would be an American, I wouldn’t act (like the US players) as if I had won the gold medal after such a close game… USA send their best 😂 to show the world who is the big dog… but it seams like there is no real gap at all between USA and the rest of the world… didn’t you come to show us who is the boss?

If team USA play lackadaisically like there is a game 5 or 7 with every opponent, they are in for a surprise. They can't afford to thrail behind by double figures during the halftime or not allow it at all.

Just look at who won the NBA championship this year, the Celtics. Lackluster 3 point shooting, some defense, some fast break, hardly any low post. They beat teams full of injuries to get there. The NBA isn't that good these days.

Team usa is just getting worse. No defense played now a days. Watch a mid-90s game and the game now. Players would be sweating more after the first quarter then, than after a full game now.

The US team needs a Magic Johnson or a Draymond Green or a John Stockton. Superstars always think they can hero-ball.

The current US team may indeed have more talent than the Dream Team, but it's also facing tougher competition. Furthermore, Steve Kerr has not been an effective coach so far. I would put it on him, if the US doesn't win the Championship.

Germany is a Team .. leaving NBA players like Hartenstein and Maxi Kleber at home , because they didn't commit to Eurobasket "3 years ago" Yes , the US still can win it without being a real Team. In a few years this won't be possible.
