Raising Your Sons to be Men w/ Exorcist Fr. Chad Ripperger

Published 2024-06-27
Exorcist priest, Fr. Chad Ripperger, joins us to discuss the general entitlement belief and effeminacy pervasive in men today. We find boys moving to this state of adolescence and frankly never getting out of it. Not only is this state of existence contrary to right order, it stunts growth and keeps boys mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and physically trapped in immaturity. Fr. Ripperger addresses this issue by breaking down the reality of how men are raised and what can be done to actively raise our sons to be men. He then discusses how his father and his life growing up greatly influenced him in his life as an exorcist battling demons on a regular basis. This is a great conversation with practical steps we can all use.

  • I'm a simple woman. I see Fr. Chad Ripperger i click and hit the like button. Always xD

My father went to Fordham University, Class of ‘41. It was a real Catholic University back then. He served in ordinance in the North African Campaign. He could do anything, plumbing, wiring, changing the oil, putting new mufflers on a Volvo. He was brilliant and humble. He had a devotion to Saint Joseph. I was truly blessed.
  • Father Ripperger in the chapter titled, "Primacy of Reality," in his "Shop Talk" book: "You suffer a lot less when you conform to reality, instead of wanting reality to conform to you, which makes you suffer much, much more."
  • I am a blessed women. My father and grandfathers work with their hands. My husband works with his hands and he taught our son to work with his hands. I only know strong Christian men.

I just got an ad from a premium car oil maker that said “change the oil less, for less” then it jumped back to Fr.Chad saying, “change the oil.” Hahaha
  • I never had a chance to marry someone and raise a family, the time passed me by, but I'm sure glad my dad taught me as a kid on the farm. He is/was a millwright and we lived on a farm dirt poor and my whole entire life has been fixing old machinery and welding/fabricating needed items. I'm rebuilding an old combine right now, and I find it quite satisfying to take an old derelict machine and breathe new life into it and give it another useful job. I work draft horses farming and logging, and also find it very satisfying, something symbiotic about working with my hands, and working with horses, and building the relationship, and the fields and woods. It is a 7 day a week job year round, I have no hired help or vacation days off. My away time is Sunday afternoon I go to the TLM and I try to avoid planned hard labour except chores. I'm content while working. Always appreciate Fr. Ripperger's thoughts.

Some men did not have fathers who taught them these things. Not exactlt their fault but a lot of that has been lost.. needs to be rebuilt.
  • PS:.... I still hope and pray that one day Fr. Ripperger with have a chat with Jordan Peterson. Fireworks! 🎇
  • It’s a good thing I was my father’s son as well as his daughter. I never did find a husband, so it’s good I learned a lot of “man things.” Mom and Grandma taught me the “lady things.” I can cook a delicious meal and change the oil in the car.

As the saying goes, strong men create good times, good times create weak men, weak men create hard times, and hard times create strong men.
  • @Psalm51.
“We had an example in our father.” So true! This is who boys learn from on how to be real men.

May I state the obvious ? Fr Ripperger is an American legend, phenomenal, a Catholic hero, and a true man’s man!!! When you retire - you can open a mechanic’s shop and fishing camp…. So skilled and talented and instructive…. It would be great if President Trump put you in his cabinet…. Thank you
  • Good fathering in the example of St. Joseph is necessary for the foundation of a good family life.
  • @NDSMD
So many men didn't have a good father.
  • As a plumbing apprentice who is working for/with his father, and an avid elk hunter, I can relate a lot to this episode. All the things you Gentleman say, I can see happening or has happened in my life.
  • @leoniea138
My father built all churches plus Cathedral in my diocese (* except for 1 new church *)..as a little gurl I had to learn reading the plans ,, cleaning the tools etc ..fascinating....I think in my Parish ,, my youngest brother and I are the only 2 people who know every corner of the building and Father's house ....
  • Thank you for this episode!! Good points that I’ll be bringing up with my 3 boys because this world needs more Godly men. 🙏🏽
  • @lizpena9635
I love Fr. Chad Ripperger!! Thank you for this interview. My father was around physically but not emotionally. So this interview gave me more wisdom on how to guide my son and let him get his hands dirty and be a man.
