  • Sia reso noto a tutti che la Musica Terapeutica di Bach mi ha aiutato a sconfiggere la mia Depressione. Soli Deo Gloria onore al grande Kappellmeister di Lipsia ❤😊

I love to watch this man play these Goldberg Variations over and over❤! His extremely long fingers bounce among the keys, while you see—sometimes hear—him sing the notes with joy, sometimes with seriousness, but never hitting the wrong key! He is an unusual marvel!!

1:47 his hands move as if they are performing a choreographed dance, and each keystroke is executed with such precise care and intention... this is what every pianist should strive for

I first heard this Glenn Gould performance on an LP in 1954. Later I got to meet him after a concert at the UW/Madison in the 1960s. There he was introducing us to some contemporary Russian composers. Some of my most treasured piano CDs are Gould performances.
  • This is absolutely a treasure to listen to and an historic one!

Glenn Gould era d'un altro mondo....il suo spirito viaggiava con le note. La sua Anima quando suonava, era legata al cielo infinito...là dove nasce la musica, il linguaggio degli Angeli, esseri di Luce.
  • Such exquisitely precise finger articulation, and in the rarified atmosphere of a genius at the keyboard.

I am very happy to hear what Glenn Gould felt about Bach’s composition 2 centuries hence. His passion for the writing means more to me than any scholar’s ‘proof’ of intent possibly can.
  • Each of Gould's hands had their own unique and separate way of communicating musical language.
  • Inspired by his splendid performance , I will dream of nostalgic my late beloved mother who deeply loved this work . It's a memory from a long , long time ago This masterpiece he plays digs up old memories . From Tokyo of the Land of the Rising Sun 🇯🇵

The summit of all music ever written, read, and played. Never was, or will be something so mind-entangling soul stirring elating and awing.
