It's a pretty popular theory that it's not Kai who turned greedy, but instead it was Oogway that turned selfless. Kai called himself a warlord when he introduced himself. Him and Oogway probably both were. But it was the Pandas' generous gesture that had an impact on Oogway and see him in a different light. For me it's Oogway that makes this movie so good. He had such little roles in the trilogy but whenever he had screentime it was absolutely perfection. Him finally going full circle with the dragon warrior selection killed me.

The way Oogway calls him “Dragon warrior” after he saves them and has all the golden surrounding them still makes me teary eyed man. That whole seen was just wow.

Hi, I'm a MoCap performer with some voice acting background and gotta say these movies always had an amazing voice over work done. The main cast of course but also even the smaller roles had great actors. PS. You almost saw me in the new Resident Evil 4 as Leon :)

The thing I like about Shifu was that he was not an egocentric teacher! He was quite happy to see his student/s to exceed him! And in a true teacher fashion to even further expand his expertise, he asked Po to teach him! A true generous teacher learning and imparting knowledge and wisdom! And even if Po would have exceeded him skill wise even Po recognizes that Shifu is still way more Wise than him! The 1st and 3rd part are brilliantly done!

I love that each movie tackles different subject matter. Self-doubt and acceptance, loss and tragedy, and spiritual growth and helping others. They all have a great message, as well as being seriously entertaining, and they're not preachy either.

I love stories about family and discovering yourself, I love communities coming together, and I love pandas. This film is so precious!

I know a lot of people consider this movie the weakest of the trilogy, but it's my favorite after the second one. J.K. Simmons is incredible as General Kai and his villain theme goes so hard. I love Po's struggle to become a teacher and master chi, the climax is truly epic, and I love how well his biological and adoptive fathers eventually get along so well. That thing Mr. Ping said about how we sometimes "do the wrong things for the right reasons" has always stuck with me.

I can't decide which one's the best among these 3, i loved all of them. Beautiful stories, excellent dialogues, comedies, music, animation everything is so powerful in this trilogy. I wish they made more.

If you look closely at Kai's belt, you can see that he has also stolen the Chi from Tai Lung. I think that's a pretty nice detail :)

Kung Fu Panda 2 has always been my favourite. Tai Lung is Shifu's problem. Kai is Oogway's. Lord Shen is the only one with a direct connection to Po

So while I am looking forward to 4 I really feel the trilogy was pretty perfect on its own. I just hope 4 doesn't bring down the rest of the franchise.

Love this movie. I think it might be my favorite of the trilogy. Kai was awesome as a villain and loved the soundtrack, especially his theme. The relationship between Po and his fathers is great. Also, it was nice having Oogway back

I love how Po's Chi Master looks like the form of himself from his dreams.
