“Egypt is a gift from the Nile”. Herodotus’ famous quote, who travelled this country around 650 BC, is still relevant today. Nowadays, the majority of Egyptians live on its banks. As in the time of the pharaohs, they fish and they channel the river water to irrigate their fields.

This documentary introduces to the Egyptians who live on the banks of the Nile, from Rosetta, where it flows into the Mediterranean, to Abu Simbel, where it leaves Egyptian territory to begin its Sudanese journey.

    Nefertiti was not the wife of Ramseys but Akhenaten Wife of Ramesses ii was Nefertari ... please dont give false information.
