China is already so different to my first time in China in 2023! Last time I only visited Beijing and Shanghai - this time, Guangzhou kicks off an epic trip that goes to some...unusual places!

Beijing is the political center, Shanghai is the financial center, Shenzhen is the technology center, and Guangzhou is the trade center. Beijing is the political center, so it gives people a more solemn feeling. Shanghai has a faster pace of life, and Guangzhou gives people a feeling of being closer to life (probably related to the living habits of Guangdong people, who are more easy-going). If you have time, you can go to Shenzhen to have a look. Shenzhen has a sense of the future. Of course, every city has places close to life, but you may not have visited them because every city in China is very large. These four cities are all famous first-tier cities in China.

China is truly an amazing country, so much history yet so modern, would love to visit one day to see it with my own eyes! ❤😊
  • I've been living in China since 2018, and yeah China is definitely not what most westerners expect. There is no where else I'd rather live in the world, than here. The country really opens up and gets great the more you master the language as well. Hope you guys enjoy your trip!
  • You can take the Guangzhou Metro to Foshan. If you go to Foshan, please contact me and I can take you to taste the food or introduce more places.

From Hong Kong to Beijing you can take speed train. Cost around $140 gets you to Beijing in 8.5 hours!!!
  • Have lived in China several years and love it. Traveled extensively and have visited 25c cities (Beijing is my base). China is modern, extremely safe, and the people gracious and friendly. Glad you enjoyed!
  • China ticks a lot of boxes in countries that should be huge tourist destinations. Long and interesting history, good food culture, diverse landscape, excellent public transport system, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera. I guess the thing that puts most people off, is the perceived challenges of travelling in the country, outside of the normal language barrier.

Australia are visa free now just a couple of days ago. Not sure if you are still in China. Maybe go to HongKong and re-enter once again with visa free haha..
  • The meal in the airport is called 'Soup Noodles with Beef Brisket' and 'Rice Noodles with something(i can't see from the video). Regular food in GuangDong province. But eat in the airport is not common in chinese live. less tasty and higher price.

    我是中国浙江宁波人,如果你们有时间可以到宁波旅游,宁波有吞吐量超过10亿吨的港口,是做贸易的好地方

Great vlog guys!! Trust us when we say that once you figure out how things work in china and get used to it, you will find travelling within china super easy. Most services are standardized not only within the cities, but also almost everywhere else. Things like using the subway in guangzhou is exactly the same as in beijing or shanghai or shenzhen. You just need to figure it out.
