I once covered from Dublin as a Journalist the 'Liverpool Comedy Festival' in the early 1990s where Dara performed... (Artists often don't particularly take to journalists...) He was the most wonderfully friendly guy, indeed, upon finding I had no proper friends in Liverpool, he invited me to dinners, lunches and 'get togethers' with other artists and people involved in the festival. He introduced me to loads of other people. EVERY TIME over the weekend when I'd bump into him, he'd ask if I was okay, had all I needed and he was SUPREMELY friendly and utterly lovely and polite. (THIS was before he EVER appeared on Mainstream British TV...) ABSOLUTELY GENUINE BLOKE... xx SF

“Can you touch your toes? Yes I can touch my toes, I’ve got knees” HAHAHAHHA
-
This man spent the entire show wearing those sleeves under his jacket just for the final joke... how much respect I feel for that? (quite a lot)

Dara's stand-up carries a colossal amount of spoken word script; added to dance routines, audience participation. He verbally interacts with their line of work, pulling that apart for authenticity sake. Which he remembers & comes back to later. Flipping from one story to another, then back again not forgetting where he's left off. His performance is truly mind blowing. This isn't wordy hype for seeing is believing.

That bloke who raised his hand at the pregnancy symptoms is now probably the ultimate dad with all the dad jokes a dad can have
-
I love how he took apart the heckler at the start!
-
Went to see him in Dublin, thinking he's ok I think could do his standup 😅. By the end I reliased most top comedians couldn't do his gig. Unbelievablly quick and hilariously funny. One of the greatest 🙌

"Oh no, the rhythm is gonna get me!" Couldn't stop LOLing.
-
It was pretty impressive he remembered all the audience members' stories from the beginning to the end there, keeping track of that for that long while delivering a show(with many improv bits) is pretty damn good! I wanna see this guy live, he's hilarious and I really love his attitude
-
This guy is the best ever comedian. He is just genuinely hilarious and never ending energy.
-
The part about falling off while cycling is brilliant 😂😂😂 it amazes me how much and how fast he talks and thinks!
-
Def like to think that the mate who made the “bear” joke is Ed Byrne, from Dara’s spot-on impression, that “Doctor Bear” bit kills me every time
-
One of the best stand-ups I saw... routines mixed with improvisation like if it's natural :D And he's so fast, I swear after 30 minutes I thought I'm somewhere near the end of the show already :D great guy, great comedian
-
6:40 that gentle dismantling of the heckler was perfection.
-
You know, it's probably not the most important part of the show, but Dara has a nice hip sway move when he's dancing. And he's terrifically funny of course.
-
It's kind of ironic watching a pirated version of this show and seeing the extended bit about the young boy trying to pirate it by recording it on his phone.
-
Dara is so hilarious, he's a laugh every second, keep on making great stand up...
-
You know what’s cuter than a human baby??? EVERYTHING. Literally. Everything.
-
BEST. SHOW. EVER. (and also best ending in history of stand-up)
-
"The light from the sun, it's gone off!" Pretty sure that's the plot of Sunshine!
