I’m an American and was in the service in 1967 when this happened. I do remember this and couldn’t understand how this happened. I had limited information. Because of my research recently on how the Jews “acquired” the land and kept expanding, and with this attack, my opinion of Israel has changed. I don’t support the U.S. backing the Israelis up now with this new war.

It was an Israeli false flag attempt. They wanted to sink the vessel and kill all on board in order to blame it on Egypt or perhaps the nearby Soviet ship. This in turn would increase U.S. support for Israel. It's noteworthy that the Soviet Union came to the assistance of the battered ship after the attack. "Assault on the Liberty" by Ennes is the best book on this vital topic.

  • If you want to learn more about this, read "Assault on the Liberty" by James Ennes, who was second in command on the Liberty. Not a single surviving US sailor on the ship believed the Israeli claim it was mistaken identity. They are convinced that it was the Israeli intention to sink the ship and kill everyone on board. They were fearful that it would pick up Israel's plan to attack Syria and take the Golan Heights. The ship's commander was awarded the Medal of Honor. This medal is ALWAYS awarded by the President in the White House, but not this time. The association of Jewish was veterans objected to it. All crew members and their families were warned not to speak of the affair. This is the hold that the Zionists have on the US. If only more Americans knew.
