I love the part where they tried directly talking to the people "kidnapped". Really shows the realism of the situation and that no one knows what this red sphere is. The goverment are trying to contact people that are already gone

Ah, the classic scams old people always fall for, Nigerian Princes asking for money and the Red Orb loves you and wants you to become one with it. Happened to my grandparents last week, took me ages to reconstruct grandpa from the bone throne they turned him into. Although in their defense, it was a bitchin bone throne.

This was certainly not one of the SCPs I expected to see on this channel, but I think it was handled well! Still, I think there are some aspects that should be worked on to add to the realism. The description of the cult's ritual was too detailed. In an emergency alert like this, only the most pertinent information is disclosed. The point of an emergency alert is to inform, not incite panic. At most they would say something like "All persons who entered this van have been reported missing. An eyewitness account claims they are being held in a large red sphere... etc."
