Why do people always say that Goku doesn't want his potential unlocked? He literally said he did when elder kai mentioned it before the TOP. The only time he says something about not liking being gifted power was the ssg ritual but, that's actually gifted power unlike the potential unlock.

1:00:00 what would happen with the goku black arc is that goku would just absolutely crush him. A lot of people forget that techniques like UI, UE, and Kaioken aren’t innate skills. Meaning zamasu would be unable to do it because it requries goku’s mind to do, which goku black doesn’t have. And considering the disparity between super saiyan god and UI, I don’t think he’d be able to fuse with the universe

actually cooler does exist in canon dragon ball, it shows in the black frieza saga when beerus decides to show up against frieza, and when goku and vegeta try to kill frieza, frieza revived cooler and he actually reached golden, around the same level as RF saga goku and vegeta, but it does not really matter since he would not do much against this goku
