This band is rain and sunshine at the same moment

What a unique voice he has , you could never mistake them and their sound loved it!
  • @osualum85
so melodic, just lets your mind relax and send you to a place where nothing matters and life stands still. Very underrated band. Their stuff is top shelf.

I will always and forever love this song! One of the best tracks in the 90's and Toad The Wet Sprocket is one of the best bands in the 90's!
  • One of the most underrated bands of all times. This should be a classic tune.

This has to be one of my favourites. Such a beautifully haunting melody. Just can't get enough of it . Wonderful.
  • These dudes are hella underrated...Love that 90's sound..Toad, R.E.M, Gin Blossoms, Sister Hazel, Eagle Eye Cherry, Blues Traveler etc.

This song gives me the chills everytime. I have a weird feeling of nostalgia when I listen to it, not a regular nostalgia though, more like a melancholy, idk how to explain it. It makes me feel like I'm missing something or someone I never knew. I love it but it makes me sad.

This song feels like heartache but it's so beautiful at the same time, one of my favorites... "and again we meet in the spaces in between... you always say there's something wrong."

This song is not just one of Toad's best, it's one of the best songs ever written. Yes, I said that. And I'm an old-school rock/metalhead guy.
  • The nostalgia I feel when I hear this song is too much. Takes me back when life was great as a teenager. Loved this song then and now!❤️
  • This song is about as perfect song as can written. Just hauntingly beautiful. Perfect.
  • For those who love TWS and talk about your memories of the 90s, these guys still tour regularly. I encourage you to find some small music venue where they are playing near you and go. They remain a wonderful show. Just saw them a couple of months ago with my girlfriend who had never seen them before, and she was blown away. Their drummer is new, but otherwise they are the same band. Support live music at small venues!!!
  • There is an aspect of songwriting that almost never gets a mention, except among professionals talking professionally, and the is the arrangement of the song. Some tunes just flow, even across tempo and key changes, and others just clunk along. This song is an example of the finest kind of arranging, one that lets the song breathe and move around without ever losing the flow.
  • After my son died back in May of 2013 I went and just started listening to songs on YT. For some reason I couldn’t get through this one without crying. As time went on I was able to listen to it without tears. I went on here to listen to Silent Lucidity by Queensryche. Toad the Wet Sprocket songs were recommended. I listened to Walk on The Ocean All I Want then this one. After 10 yrs once again it made me cry
  • @PeteTheChopp
ITs the harmonizing on the chorus that makes this song so great
  • Love the chord progression. Definitely highlights the beauty of 90s acoustic guitar-heavy era.
