Edward Kenway is the best because he was interesting, he wasn't some hero assassin guy who's entire story is basic with a normal story, he was a guy who was in denial of getting too close with people, he thought all he wanted to do was get rich but he really just wanted to have a good life and not be treated like shit. His entire vendetta turns around from pirate to assassin when Mary dies, and it keeps us interested and in touch with the character.

Yeah, Ezio. Best personality and in Revelations he had the hookblade and eagle sense.

My two favorites are Altaiir and Ezio. I liked both of their stories. And we got to see Ezio grow amd develop as an awesome assassin. My least favorite is probably Edward Kenway. Idk I feel like Altaiir starts fighting for the truth, Ezio starts fighting for revenge for his family and Edward....uh...fights for treasure and to get laid???

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't Edward a pirate before he met the assassins?

Although Ezio may not be the number one assassin when it comes to combat, we all have to admit that he had the most influence on the other games. He was able to revive the brotherhood, liberate Roma, and pretty much take on a whole army. He makes sure that the Apple of Eden is secure, so that Desmond may retrieve it later. We also get to see Ezio from the moment he is born, to his fifties. There are three games to his name for a reason. He's done far too much for the series for his life to be put into only one game. Ezio is in my opinion, the best assassin we play as. May you murder street musicians in heaven.

My favorite Assassin is definitely Ezio, though my favorite movements (I haven't played anything after Black Flag, sorry) is Black Flag! I actually like sailing and I defeated all four of the big ass ships!

I personally like Edward

My favorite is 47. A ghost messenger of the Reaper. The most clean, precise, and discrete hits are carried on by him. Was caught 3 times in his carrer with at least 50 successfull contracts, often executing multiple targets, and acomplishing things like procuring, detroying, bugging, and ensuring the safety of VIPs. Not to mention the people he killed out personal reasons.

Shay will always be my favorite protagonist.
