Now that fanny packs are socially acceptable again I might just bust out all the ones I stashed in 1991. 😂
  • @5justinleach
I don't see it reviewed often but the Janji Multipass Sling has been my favorite fanny pack/sling bag. It has a stabilizer strap if you are running/biking/playing soccer, and a unique system for larger items.

Awwwwww mate, so glad you covered fanny packs. I'm convinced, this is, in my opinion, one of the best " you get to your travel destination, and use this as your day bag/daily carry". So many options! and if you need something larger, 10L sling. Brilliant!

Purchased a vintage waist bag for floating or tubing. Found it really handy for hiking as well. Can carry my miniature tripod in there and a small snack. No need to to remove my backpack anymore.
  • @JesseDriftwood
This is a very helpful! I’ve been travelling with a Jansport Fanny pack that I found at a thrift store over a decade ago. Time for an upgrade!
  • @LiamGandelsman
I have the moment one and I like it a lot (especially for travel). The glasses shelf and built in lens cleaner are great. Removed the lens organizers and stow my keys in the front pocket
  • @ArnauViaM
Love to see you back with energy! And I hope you are well since you keep mentioning that your life when down
  • @NaturalMystic69
The Vanquest Dendrite Large is also my favorite fanny pack. Had mine for a year or so and it's been awesome.
  • @jennifer_u
Got the lululemon belt bag for my last trip. Like everybody else. It was awesome. I will never travel again without that or some iteration of a fanny pack đŸ™ŒđŸ»

I just played this whole video but didn't see any of it. Putting a screen protector glass on my new phone...Your chill voice was very helpful in the background in keeping me from throwing my phone as those air bubbles are HELL!! Thanks- Love your videos - my go to when I need ANOTHER new bag. Peace.
  • @CrispyTuckley
Huge fan of the Evergoods MHP 3.5L. I can use it as a fanny pack or a crossbody sling and it carries A LOT. Another great video, sir!
  • @seechangenyc280
So happy to see you! Which would you recommend as sling (not obnoxiously large)....interesting, no Bellroy? Nothing funky. Only wear black, minimal aesthetic, no dangling straps, no floppy, holds its shape. No big guys. Urban (older) gal. I own both Trakke bags. No more waxed bags. No loud. No bulky. What say you? Top 3 (even if not mentioned). Many thanks for your wisdom...
  • @DKatri1
Glad to see you back making vids.
  • @cullateral
Your vids are always a treat. I feel like batman when rockin my patagonia 1L bumbag
  • @blkshprd
Love this video. I’m actually surprised that you didn’t review the bedouin foundry fanny packs. Waxed cotton, killer interior, and the first to use cobra buckles, which have been imitated by many of the brands on this video. Definitely worth a look.
  • @jim_bocho
Great list! But the Heimplanet Sling Pocket (XL) is definitely missing. Love mine :)
  • @st33ldi9ital
I'd really like to find a slim "front pack" or chest pack some such that I could wear underneath clothing to throw tablet or macbook in and earpods some money, cards, etc. A hidden pack good for light day travel that's accessible from side or bottom that wouldn't stick out like a backpack or fanny pack and make me a potential target.
  • @Lightspeed-eo6nw
I got the code of bell one, you’re right, it’s a bit finicky to use. I ended up with a couple of Alpaka ones in different sizes, they’re a nice medium between normie and techie.
  • @BumblebeeElectron
Great review. A couple of things: 1. The king of backpack-substitute hiking fanny packs is Mountainsmith. Great suspension system, for a start. 2. You didn't talk about my absolute deal breaker. If you're someplace with pickpockets, the buckle placement is crucial. If it's centered (i.e. equal length straps), with the bag in front of you the buckle is out of your control; with the buckles in front, the bag itself is out of your control. That's why I'll only use bags with the buckle at the side (like the Vanquest) so I can have the bag and buckle both in front. That configuration also makes it easier to use as a sling.

Thanks for this Sir! I've been through most and use the Evergoods 2L on a daily basis. It's a solid partner to the Evergoods CLP 24L. Great gear and wonderful materials. Hope you're well Chase and thanks for continuing with this content.
