Even though this video is a joke, as a member of a family of six I can say with 100% certainty, that this video captures exactly what it's like to wash dishes when you live with 5 other people, even down to the urge to just smash all the plates and glasses..

I also have a 2 basin sink, and I like your approach. I do it very similarly but I typically fill the side with the dirty dishes with warm soapy water so the can dishes soak, meanwhile I use the empty basin for the rinsing. Also when in doubt I use my finger as a scrubber because I can feel dirt that my eyes would totally miss if I used a sponge. The rest of my cleaning process is identical, which is very validating. Thanks for sharing!

Was legit watching this video out of desperation because I have kitchen cleaning duty at a restaurant and can't keep up. After he started breaking the plates I realized I was watching a how to basic video. Feel a lot better.
