Thanos Kagkalos
Thanos Kagkalos, Motion Designer / Director

Thanos Kagkalos, also known as MotionPunk, is a motion design director based in Athens, Greece.

Thanos stands out not just for his technical skills but also for his unique, playful style. His whimsical approach has attracted attention from global brands such as Apple, Netflix, Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Paramount, Logitech, EA Sports, National Geographic, and Euroleague, among many others.

His portfolio spans commercial projects and cinematic title sequences, showcasing his versatility and commitment to storytelling. In the last few years, he has freelanced as an art director for selected VFX and design studios like The Mill, ManVsMachine, Framestore, MPC, and Elastic. Currently, he is part of the motion design/art direction department at Apple.

Embracing remote work, Thanos has adapted to solo projects, leveraging Cinema 4D and Octane Render to meet daily production challenges. His innovative approach not only pushes the boundaries of 3D design but also paves the way for new methods of visual storytelling. Driven by curiosity, he is always on the lookout for new visual languages.

Gilles Augustijnen
Gilles Augustijnen, Art Director / VFX Generalist

Gilles Augustijnen is a self-taught art director and 3D generalist with a passion for storytelling through visuals.

Completely self-taught, he went from doing posters and forum signatures to working for mainstream VFX productions, working directly for directors on acclaimed shows such as The Peripheral (produced by Westworld creators Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy), Citadel (with the Russo brothers as executive producers), and Rebel Moon (directed by Zack Snyder).

His breakout project WesterosWorld – an inspired mashup of Game of Thrones and Westworld title sequences – showcased his exceptional talent and landed him industry recognition.
