    You don't need the DLC to receive the Mythical Pecha Berry event, but you do to play the epilogue and actually catch Pecharunt. It's an important distinction for anyone that has the base game, but doesnt plan on playing the dlc for a while

    I held off buying this game up until now because of the various bugs, so on one hand YouTube is hella creepy for knowing I bought SV today then immediately recommending this video but on the other hand I'm very elated that there are even still mystery gifts available this far into the game's release. Its was pretty unexpected considering mystery gifts usually had very limited time windows in past games so thank you for putting this together for us. 😊
