After her more comedic roles in #Vengeance and #Schmigadoon, #DoveCameron feels like she’s at a place where she’s ready to sink her teeth into a dramatic arc. She hopes to play “maybe more romantic or maybe more gut-wrenching roles, because — I think I’m pretty public about this — but in my personal life, I’ve had quite a lot of intense experiences and there’s been a lot of loss and a lot of things that have left me feeling very in touch with the human condition and with my own sort of inner processes. And I think I’m finally ready to be able to delve into those things on camera as a different person, rather than just sort of insisting on never exposing that part of myself.”
