Everyone needs a friend like Robert Downey Jr who does all the jokes and another friend like Christopher Nolan who laughs at all of them.

Okay, I'm not the biggest Marvel movie fan, but I was just convinced/reminded that RDJ really did carry the franchise on his back. His charisma is insane.
  • @Suits_mens786
I laughed multiple times during this. The line where RDJ says if Nolan was directing Avengers we would still be shooting it is gold
  • RDJ is like a Golden Retriever, he just fits in with everybody. Always making friends, taking their fun sides out and make everyone smile and giggle.
  • @hjk6606
This has to be the first time I've ever seen Christopher Nolan engaged in an actual conversation where he's genuinely smiling and laughing.

"If Christopher Nolan had directed The Avengers we would still be shooting it." LOL That got me.
  • @naheenanjum
"Just remember, this was someone's idea to pair us up." I don't know if they were faking it or not. But this was one of the best interviews I've enjoyed. Maybe because Mr.Nolan is so very serious all the time.
  • @KaraNolting
Seeing Christopher Nolan genuinely chuckle and giggle is a thing of beauty.
  • @FandeJay
Nolan is notoriously famous for avoiding interviews, so having RDJ bring out a more fun side to him is really heartwarming.
  • @azzuri09
He’s 100% right about “this will do until dark knight comes out” lol
  • @dnrx01
I love that Nolan is answering to Robert and not to the camera at all like Robert is actually the one interviewing him
  • @joshbecker389
Probably The most ive seen Christopher Nolan laugh 😂😂
  • @ChrisMovieMisfit
The fact that both Iron Man and The Dark Knight came out in the same summer and both changed the game for comic book movies, when RDJ was kinda in a weird spot in his career where no one was really wanting him, now years later sitting with Christopher Nolan talking about a film they did together, its the circle of life.
  • @nincompooplol
Robert Downey Jr is that guy who'll light up your mood no matter how down you are just by being himself. And the fact that he's making Nolan laugh so effortlessly-
  • The amount of contribution to superhero movies these 2 legends gave in the year 2008 is immeasurable. They literally paved the way for DCEU and MCU
  • @Qwazin
This is proof that RDJ did not just play himself as Iron Man, but he actually had to tone himself down to play Tony Stark, which must've taken a tremendous amount of effort and restraint.
  • @dontmd4158
RDJ's personality is outrageously endearing. its like a time bomb of joy and almost a juvenile sense of wonder just hitting you all at once . amazing
  • @kurtdewittphoto
RDJ stunts in Oppenheimer were incredible. The walking down that lawn toward Einstein will always stick with me.
  • @benw4409
Robert Downey Jr is 100% winning the Oscar for his role.
  • @allroundlad
I cannot believe RDJ is 6 years older than Christopher Nolan. For someone that struggled with substance abuse for a long time, he has aged miraculously well.
