Her suicide note was an apology, which sheds new light on how often she apologizes through out telling her story.

you guys picked a really good interviewer - he is very empathetic and supportive while giving these people space to process.

As a therapist, I am incredibly thankful that this beautiful young woman had the strength to carry on, and survive this horrific abuse!!! I am also so impressed by the interviewers empathy and genuine ability to listen, put her at ease, and help her to be able to share her journey through this hell and back! Tysm for both of you to bring awareness to this heinous situation!!! 🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️😞😞😞
  • I wish I could take away this young womans pain 💔 Young lady you are a Phoenix. You rose from the ashes and found the strength and courage to tell your story. Sending you love, light and my utmost admiration.

It sounds like a Stockholm syndrome. She was at wrong place at the wrong time when it all started. William was probably the main culprit who sold her to his "friends". What a heartbreaking story.

What a woman - honestly. It takes such strength to be able to share such a horrific story so openly with the world. I don’t doubt that her openness will save other women directly through her work as a nurse and indirectly through interviews like this. Truly inspirational ❤

I love that she names the perpetrators- that has to take such strength.

What a gift that she ended up in Mental Health Nursing. I hope this career helped her understand what happened to her and help others in need. She should hold no blame or responsibility for what happened to her. Being naive and not worldly is an innocent place and she was blessed to come f that place. And above all she’s a survivor and no one can take that from her! Bravo to her and all survivors….without you we will never learn and grow! ❤😢😊

I'm saddened by her constant excuses for William. He sounds just as abusive as the other men she's encountered, but she seems unable to see it. I pray she heals completely 😢🙏🏾

Her story stayed with me from the original video because it was so shocking and unbelievable. It was good to hear more about it. She's so brave for telling her story

Ben, you are such a compassionate, huge hearted man. Your voice is calming and your gentleness is a comfort to your guest(s) as always. This just seemed so hard for her. You make my heart smile.
  • @wyldevoices
OMG. My heart breaks for her. And I am so absolutely livid. The police and the counselor she spoke with after the first rape completely failed her. What an incredible survivor. <333
  • What a harrowing story. This woman will save lives sharing her story. She is the epitome of strength
  • No need to ever feel shame. You were the victim and a strong survivor who is bravely speaking out to help others. Really informative and interesting interview that sheds light on terrible crimes that I didn’t know much about. All the best to this lovely lady and I’m sure she will help many other survivors ❤

That terrible sinking feeling when you realize that your life has taken an awful turn… there is a feeling of resignation from all your hopes and aspirations. I want this young lady to know that her message reaches deep and clear to other victims/survivors of trauma, and to thank her for her demonstrated desire to help others. I hope that she will come to know how strong and beautiful she really is. 🌈💜🇺🇸
  • I hope this lady finds love and good fortune for what's happened to her. She's one strong woman!
  • @lisar7364
She still has a long way to go in healing. She still has a scripted excuse for William. William led her to the Lions Den. Just horrible. I pray there is justice some where along the way against each of the perps. So sorry you had to go through all of this.
  • From one nurse to another your one brave soul , no need to be ashamed i am beside you every step of the way ! in fact i am very proud of you !
  • this interviewer is amazing. he really makes the effort to not pressure her
  • “Of course” It’s such a powerful and healing phrase. When you share the worst things that have happened to you and the other person said “of course.” It makes you feel like “ohhh, of course I was terrified…anyone put in that situation would feel the same way. Thank you to you and everybody you’ve interviewed. Interviewee and interviewer you’ve helped more people than you can imagine, keep doing what you do!!!
