How has Content Warning already got over 200,000 peak players? While this might look like a silly party game, what if I told you that this was the most genius game launch EVER?

Phasmophobia walked so Lethal Company and Content Warning could run

"Guys check out this new co op indie game it totally changed gaming forever"-every youtuber at the moment
  • @Micha-Hil
Content Warning is literally the epitome of "goofy proximity voice chat endless horror". Your goal is to be a YouTuber that records scary shit with your friends, and at the end you can download your video and upload it to YouTube alongside other people who recorded scary shit with their friends. It's literally a perfect gameplay loop.

The easy clip sharing, but that's what the game itself is about is just 500 IQ
  • @KIDBUNTU
Honestly thatā€™s the magic of steam. With Epic Games always spending big money to grab as many big triple a games on their platforms, steam has always been a platform about indie games focused or something so stupid that the internet started playing. Something fortnite money cannot buy.
  • @chezitoo
they def arenā€™t paying for marketing but they sure as hell are paying boat loads for some good servers to handle all those players who didnā€™t pay for the game šŸ˜

realizing landfall is indie is so inspiring to me
  • Landfall has been building up these layers since the start of tabs and content warning is the game that aligns all of them The parody/similarity is a landfall day thing The jankness is the engine and the landfall thing The meming and not taking anything seriously is a landfall tradition Landfall almost never advertises their games , only in their youtube channel and some more And this game added the advertisement being the gameplay itself If you haven't noticed everything stated here has been a landfall tradition and is very enjoyable they had all the layers it was just a matter of time Landfall is truly a legendary company

how many "THIS GAME WILL CHANGE THE INDUSTRY" videos we gonna have this year
  • @RickYRageRiss
your telling me stickman and tabs didnt have the same level of virality as this game? Tabs ruled youtube gaming with an ironfist from beta to its full launch
  • @kukukachu
That's not true, EVERYONE was playing Stick Fight....that game had its "virality" Going on Steam now, seeing 93,596 reviews at very positive for stick fight.

I love how recently games have been using clips from the game as the marketing, starting with Lethal Company and Helldivers 2 and now Content Warning.
  • @denether
Spore wanted to do this strategy so badly back in the early 2010's. Glad to see someone else actually pick up the ingenious idea of built in content creation in a game.
  • @marquiseh5128
the single free day gets a lot of people into it immediately to spread the word fast the gameplay gets you hooked fast anyone who didnt get it will now likely get it to play with friends who got it already
  • @Pepcen
Can y'all stop with the overhyped titles already. This game didn't change anything. It's just a really fun game. That's it.

    Silly + friends + horror = $$$ is the 2024 game method

"This game broke the internet." "This game just changed gaming." This video showing up in my recommended is the first time I'm hearing of it.

I LOOOOVE this game but I hope lethal company doesn't just disappear forever. I made so many core memories in just a few months
