Beryl continues to blast East Texas with winds over 80 mph after passing the Houston area. The storm was downgraded to a tropical storm hours after making landfall on Monday morning. FOX Weather's Katie Byrne reports from Galveston, where Beryl's impacts are still being felt. #foxweather #Beryl

    Soo true.. Winds were howling from approximately 2.45am ...that woke me up. Like the reporter, I wasn't sure which room to go into fearing a window shattering. Just left Trinidad about 2 wks ago where the both islands were spared from Beryl's disasters to meet up with Beryl in Houston. Very scary experience during this hurricane .
