Saltburn is a black comedy psychological drama where multiple deaths occur within the narrative, all playing a crucial role in advancing Oliver Quick's grand scheme.

Felix takes Oliver under his wing, inviting him to spend the summer with his family at their eponymous estate, Saltburn. As the story unfolds, Oliver's true nature emerges while he infiltrates the inner workings of the Catton family. There are many shocking deaths in the 2023 movie, each strategically contributing to Oliver's triumphant ending as he dances through the estate to the song Murder on the Dancefloor.

Venetia is so intelligent and perceptive , tragically she was too damaged and traumatized to work thru it

Veneta should have known that trope; if you call someone out on their bs, you'll eventually get bodied
  • The biggest mistake Felix made was accepting Oliver back after finding out he lied about his parents being dead. If someone did that to me, I'd feel so angry and betrayed. They would be cut out of my life for good

I think you've misunderstood. He loved but he hated them all. He planned all the murders, beforehand.

I always felt like the parents of olivers (especially the dad) knew something about him.

He def took the money, thats why he's seen as a man with higher middle class wealth after he left saltburn.
  • I liked a lot of the dialogue and interactions but I feel the film should've been more ambiguous, because Oliver killing everyone like a terminator is ridiculous. I think it would've been better if we didn't know how the murders went down because poison would've been picked up quickly 😂
  • Sweet I was able to watch the movie in 5 min and 42 seconds. Didn’t even have to see all the overly weird perverted stuff.

I’m wondering what happened to Elspeth to put her on life-support?

I liked this film a lot and Barry Keoghan is a very good actor, but I think he ist too old for that role. So much so, I thought it to be at some point a part of the story, that it turned out he was a creppy old guy and not a real student

    What happened to the butler?
  • @Mememeep
Was an ok movie.. pity the dad tho.

Why go through all this effort for a terrible film and flimsy plot based on wanton wish-fulfillment? Where did Oliver get poison from? Why was their no autopsy and bloodwork done? It's just written so poorly. The sister's death is highly contrived - she uses the bathtub right next to Olvier's room and no one asks a single question

Yeah this film sucked in every single possible way. What a waste of time. Movies just try to be edgy and confusing for no reason. Absolutely pointless to even attempt to watch this. Don’t get mislead into thinking it’s worth it 😂😂 it’s one of those where you’ll regret spending 132 minutes watching a dumb mysterious movie.
