  • The reason Modi was so riled up about Magnis death was because he was destined alongside his brother to survive Ragnarok, so Kratos defied fate again
  • @DrWatson4
The fear from Modi after he sees Kratos kill Magni is great they started off so confident and cocky because they thought Kratos was just another giant and didn’t think he was another god

The only one I feel sorry for (that Kratos kills, not like Thor) is Baldur. He has walked the past hundred years feeling tortured by the fact that he can't feel anything or die, while the mother has refused to take back the spell in spite of being perfectly able to.
  • Fun Fact: This wasn't scripted 24:26 Christopher Judge was supposed to grab it one time but accidentally didn't grab it in the first time but it actually made it look better like that because it looks like Kratos realised what he's done and his rage getting into him so they kept it
  • I truly loved the storyline between him Baldur. You can truly hear the pain coming from him

15:00 I have a feeling some people consider this to be a deus ex machina, but if you think about it, before that Jormungandr literally had only one person who can understand him. Hearing anyone say anything to him is probably very valuable
  • 1. Magni : Butchered to death by Kratos by landing a few hits on his side and body ebfore finally his face. 2. Modi : Already exhausted from the wound Thor gave to him. However, overcome by selfishness Atreus insist of Killing him by stab him in thr neck with the Knife. 3. Baldur : Was asked by Freya to be spared, Kratos beat Baldur until he is exhaustedand told him to never go near Freya. However, Baldur who never wanted to forgive his Mother attemp to choke Freya to death. And so Kratos snap him in the Neck while telling him "the cycle ends here". Baldur's death mark the beginning of Fimbulwinter. 4. Heimdall : Spared at first by Kratos, however doesn't want to swallow his pride, Heimdall return back using Bifrost Energy as a prosthetic hand to fight Kratos. Kratos force to kill him out of rage when Heimdall threatened to kill Atreus. With Heimdall's Death, Kratos able to get the Gjallarhorn. 5. Thor : Tired and Doesn't wanted to kill another Aesir, Kratos convinced Thor to be better for his family and not become a destroyer. However, Odin saw this as a Disloyalty thrust Thor to death. 6. Odin : Atreus told Odin to gave up on his quest of sacrificing anything and anyone for knowledge and be better for all 9 Realms. However, Odin refused and so Atreus put Odin's soul inside the Marble. When asked what to do with it, Sindri arrive and destroy the Marble out of revenge for killing Brok. 7. Freyr : Not really by Kratos. In order for everyone to get out of Asgard using the realm tear, Freyr sacrifice himself by hold Surtr from destroying Asgard before everyone escape. Freyr died alongside Surtr with the destruction of Asgard.
  • When you think of it, Odin literally sent Magni and Modi to their deaths. He knew about the Greek pantheon and how powerful they were, and Kratos slayed them all. Magni and Modi has no chance at succession even if Kratos didn't have his Greek abilities or even the ax.

Notice how Baldur's speech to Freya when they reunite is almost exactly the same as Freyas speech to Odin
  • @Zonnbrah
Didn't even put Modi in the thumbnail - You put him last! Even in death!
  • @CorruptStudios
Baldur’s ass beating is my personal favorite in the entire franchise. You can truly feel the emotion behind every head flattening punch
  • Technically he only killed 3 of them Magni, Baldur, and Heimdall
