  • Put some water on the suction cups and they will stay on I've never had an issue with using suction cups and they last pretty well

With the cage you are using the holes in the back are made for cords to go through. You can thread decoration and leaves through the holes and then slide the slider on the lid to secure them.
  • Really kool to take the time out to show a basic crested gecko set up. Video's exactly like this help reptile owners while growing the overall hobby. I consider myself a more experienced gecko owner... But always learn a ton of information from you in so many of your video's. Really dig the two pangea magnet food bowl holders on each side of the tank for the vines/branches.A great sturdy elevated solution to use the upper tank space area. Will be using that idea in the future for my dozens of glass enclosures. Suction cups drive our household crazy constantly falling.. Especially with our larger adult crested geckos. While I will go with a lil larger outside magnet for the food bowls with my enclosures with multiple geckos. I couldn't agree more when you brought up the one time enclosure set up fee being cheap for animal that lives twenty years... Thank you for continuing these high informative video's.. Always love learning.
  • I've used suction cups for holding up vines with great results. You need good quality ones but it's not that hard.

I’m getting a crestie next month and your videos have helped so much thank you

Hi, and thanks a bunch for your videos. They have been a great help for my new Crestie. I didn't read through all the comments, so forgive me if this is repeated, but I've got a little trick for hanging decor up high. Fishing line. You don't need to widen the holes of the mesh top, it holds plenty of weight with a high test line, it's practically invisible, and it is really easy to work with. Thanks again for your videos, they really are great.

I use the thrive vine and tropical kit, and I love it. I intertwined the zoo med flexible branch in with the fern vine and it really fills the space and looks natural and lovely.

We've learned a lot from your channel ,6 months ago ...cresty is in great shape nowadays.

I got a crested gecko 2 weeks ago and he's the cutest thing ever! I now see what you mean by the only way you can tell if they're eating is if they poop. Every morning I wake up and there is dirt in his food and water dish so I can tell he's found it!

Hey man love the videos just wanted to drop a line really quick and say that the way i have been able to fix the whole vine hanging life hack is hot glue gun and can glue it up semi permanantly and if you need to move it it can be taken loose without the struggle something like super glue would cause. Hope this helps someone if you have a better way let me know but already having the other decor and having a hot glue gun from setting up my dubia colonies it worked perfect for me.... Cheers

I would definitely mention that taking on the responsibility of keeping reptiles, money will definitely be spent. Some items can be affordably bought but others are best to buy quality over affordability. Getting the animal is easy. The set up, however, is where it gets expensive when done correctly. 👍🏻
  • I would have stuck that plant to the back of the enclosure but that's a cute little enclosure!
  • @jencote3335
Thank you for this video. I've been debating on buying that decoration kit, but it looked like it didnt have much in it. One day I hope to be able to have one of your stunning geckos. Just gotta figure out how to get it to me in Canada lol.
