I dont know if this will reach anyone, but whatever we can do to help get support to Chris / Grimdark 1/2 right now is critical. He is in a battle for his life. I have already donated, but I have little platform. Let's help this warrior so he knows he doesn't fight alone.
  • Hey Aron. Congratulations man; I'm happy your mom is still out there and kicking!

Really loved this episode! I found it interesting too when i got into Warhammer a few years back how many dudes were in shape i came over from the anime community which has a large fitness subcultural too, personally i used anime/manga as daily motivation when losing 130lbs seeing people do the same with Astartes is awesome! I loved astartes right away cos of the training, honour, brotherhood and combat readiness. Imperial fists being my guys [the fact i have an architectural technology degree and autism means id fit just fine too lol] I was raised doing boxing and boxing my older cousins made me tougher and made us all very close. Even as an adult doing BJJ the bonds you make physically struggling towards technical progress with someone is very strong. This really shines through with astartes brotherhoods. i also love that stoicism was mentioned as i fell into practising Stocism around the same time when i fell away from the organisation of my religion. Marcus aurelius' views on religion and god really helped me process the whole situation. It really helped me squash my anger issues and just appreciate everything. Little manga quote for Moots that i write on all my gym journals. "In this world, the only thing we truly own is the body we shape everyday." -Ken [from Sun Ken Rock.]

  • This is great. Had no idea this “neckbeard”(jokingly) hobby was also a place for like minded meatheads lol. Hits different hearing some of those insta handles when I’ve actually interacted with them slightly. Tbh I’m glad I came into the the 40k community when I did. Very new ish..sorta, only been a year. But already on my way to a semi passable 2000pt army for a custom CSM legion. Keep doin the good work for the imperium….nah for the dark gods of course 😎

didnt expect to be changed by a warhammer podcast, but this is an amazing episode. Im moved
  • Why does everyone talk about pop culture ninjas like they were real. Historical ninjas were just spys.
  • @ParameterGrenze
I fucking hate fitness and I despise Bro culture. I also hit the gym regularly because it is the insulin to my chronic depression: It’s not like it makes things better it just keeps things from getting worse.
  • I don’t like podcasts… I like lore videos. This is so frustrating.
