I truly loved this show. Richard Gadd and Jessica Gunning were incredible. Baby Reindeer is so complex in its treatment of such themes as mental health, sexual abuse, loneliness, self esteem, sexuality, emotional co-dependency and the supression or confrontation of several traumas.
  • He should’ve known how dangerous she was that she thought Eggbert was a solid choice for a baby.
  • I had to pause on ep6. I was so upset with his decision to show up at her house only to have the officer tell him later that he was recorded, that I had to check out for the sake of my own mental health and peace.
  • 95% of Netflix shows/movies are either bad, overrated or mediocre, but this might be the best Netflix show I've seen on their streaming service. It was an emotional rollercoaster throughout that I could not stop watching. Great review and fantastic show!

I live in England, the pub was doing illegal lock ins where they keep trading into the early morning when they're legally supposed to be shut, this is why his employers didn't want him to report the attack. I worked hospitality for years and I don't remember police ever being called when threats and assaults happened.
  • Yall really spoil your fans. Saw people asking for this in comments and yall managed to watch it while watching a million movies
  • I predict a solid 4. Baby Reindeer is the most honest and brutal piece of cathartic bloodletting I have ever seen and the best long form streaming series I have ever seen.

This was such a good show! I was a bit traumatized from episode 4 that was intense. The real Marta came out and did an interview with Pierce Morgan last night and you can tell from her behavior it's really her. It was fascinating to see the real character in the flesh and the fact the actress that played her never met her and had all her craziness down just based on the writing, she deserves the Emmy!
  • I really related to the struggles of the main character, such a powerful tale of how we handle trauma
  • I've been waiting for this critique. I binged it with my 80 yr old art photographer dad. It was poignant and he hated it.

This show had me sobbing from episode 4 to the finale. Excellent! ✨✨✨✨

I had to give a trigger warning ⚠️ for this series to my sister, because her bf was SA’ed as a kid (& is still dealing with the fallout from that). I don’t think he could handle the left turn the series took. My sister watched it without him, & said she enjoyed it, as did I.
  • I wish the review had been longer😭love your reviews❤️couldn’t wait for this one

Yay thank you guys for doing this and giving us your thoughts! 🙂This had to be one of the best Netflix shows in a while across all genres. No 35-episode, 80-hour nonsense here lol This show came in, made me laugh, made me cry, horrified me, made me think and then left before it wore out its welcome, with a whole bunch of feelings and thoughts. and reflections on my own questionable life choices. 👏 Great review!
  • This was the most bat shit series I’ve ever seen. Lol the real Martha was on an interview with pierce Morgan and yall, nuts! 😭 loved the review! 👏🏽

Wonderful review! And YES so many of the things he did made me wince - especially following her home (and who really has their email notification sounds on?) and setting her up. Some of the things he did, like the excuse for not wanting to get involved, I kinda get. As a straight woman, we sometimes have to be careful how we let men down for fear of consequences. Donny had been hurt so badly and he also had such self-loathing that he couldn't risk turning off the stream of admiration, as twisted as it was. I also understand Teri not responding like a therapist. It's always harder to take your own advice when you're emotionally invested. I loved Donny's dad! That scene on the train 😂😂😂
  • Fiona Harvey, who is the IRL character 'Martha,' was recently interviewed by Piers Morgan.

I’m so glad you guys reviewed this. As soon as I saw it I knew I’d want to hear others’ perspectives but not many people around me are talking about it!
