Hi Tom, regarding the black bales, if you're ever leaving them out in the open, just get a white spray can and put a white X on the top of each bale, and then the crows etc will not touch it. Hope that helps

Some tips for bales from someone who fed their cows just bales. The easiest way my dad found was to first cut the face side of the bale then spike it with the squeeze grab spikes (more on this later). Pick it and and cut the rest of the plastic off. When in the feeding passage find the end of the twine (?) then you can just pull it or walk backwards and it should all unwind off the bale. Now the reason for the squeeze grab, you can then expand and retract it to break up the bale and spread it out. So you start out at the back of the shed and work your way back towards the entrance so you don't drive over it. Hope this helped Tom!

Just got home from our holiday, so have something to sit and watch now. I have to say thank you for stopping to speak to my partner and myself the other day, sorry about bringing the Scottish weather down with us. Managed to get some burgers and milkshake from the farm shop, that banana and maple was 100%

I'm so glad your dad is back & doing so well. Just don't over do it. That goes for you too Tom. Stressing over thing's you can't control over change, won't make it happen faster or help any way. But it does & will effect your health in a negative way. Not good. Another great video. 👍😁
