It's honestly disturbing how some fans are accepting Clarke's obsession with Madi to be normal and fair, calling her a "protective mama bear". Like...no. It was an issue in season 5 and now it's come back again causing more damage (Bellamy's death). Motherhood shouldn't be pegged down to senseless violence and nonsensical actions that do more harm than good. Clarke gives Madi little to no agency in her own life, and there's nothing cute about that. Their relationship is toxic; someone free this child. The groups reaction to Bellamy's death angered me to the core. It wasn't enough to kill him off in a trashy way, but now this character continues to be reduced instead of fondly remembered. He was "already dead"? He was "manipulating Raven"? Seriously? The writing has made these characters so OOC that I don't even enjoy them anymore. It's really mind-blowing that Jason thought he could shove this disrespectful nonsense in our faces and think we'd be all for it. I find out you killed my brother/boyfriend/friend over a sketchbook you didn't even retrieve, you're catching a major fade, PERIOD (and that's just my version of being "understanding"). The level of unprofessionalism Jason Rothenberg radiates (especially with this last season) is nauseating. I've survived the nonsense of Julie Plec, Jeff Davis, RAS, and D&D, but this man really takes the cake.

I’m so mad cos Bellamy’s death (like you said) wasn’t dignified, Clarke died along with him for me too ...and they made her this shell of a character that seems to have learnt NOTHING after 6 seasons of trying to ‘do better’ 🙄 then Octavia didn’t even react to Bellamy dying by his besties hand 🙄🙄🙄 I always liked when C and O are/were on the same page, but this just want it 🙅🏾‍♀️

This episode was fine. Liked some of the character moments but the thing that got in my way of liking it was Clarke and I realized why. They have turned Clarke into her mother.

Gabriel gets all Skikru saying may we meet again but Bellamy gets nothing? GTFOH😡

I actually really appreciate this little therapy session bc I need it. I didn’t even bother watching the last episode which is the first time I’ve willingly skipped an episode of t100 since I first started watching. I read spoilers and I’m glad I didn’t bother. Everything is so ooc and I don’t recognize any of the characters. Clarke cries for 5 seconds and moves on? Echo and Octavia forgive her right away saying the Bellamy they knew is dead, even though it’s been like a day. It’s clear that they want to make Octavia seem more forgiving ever since their time on penance, but to not show any more remorse or anger makes no sense. And echo, she was on a warpath to get back to Bellamy a few episodes ago and now she’s just over him? Bellamy went to hell and back for Clarke last season and has always supported his friends and he get the bare minimum recognition, it’s actually disgusting. Clarke killing Bellamy for Madi is so ironic when I think about how furious she was at her mother for her fathers death. She made the same mistake she blamed her mom for. I truly feel sad and mad for Bob who put so much work and effort into this show for years to get this kind of disrespectful treatment. I really only struggled through this season bc of him and now i don’t even care anymore

I am so disappointed. Clarke made Madi her life's purpose. And that is not healthy. She suffocates the girl and if it ends up killing her it wouldn't be a surprise to me. Besides, it's a very one-sided relationship, because Madi never called Clarke a mother and already mentioned that her mother was dead. So whoever says that Clarke would be like a mother to Madi is wrong. In addition, it was clear that Bellamy's death was a last minute change. His death had no impact on the plot, apart from destroying the personality of Clarke who regressed her worst version. Everyone was upset about other things, but no mourning was played. And finally, it was a very stupid episode. Again the characters acted like idiots and it makes me realize how none of them would survive one day if it weren't for Bellamy leading them.
  • I feel like Gabriel’s death is especially cheap cuz he “wanted” to die. Its easy for us to cry for a minute but say “its what he wanted in the end”. I felt he was gonna die by the end of the series but i really wished he could have survived and shed his wisdom till he passed away at 300 years old

I can't watch anymore. The show died with Bellamy's awful death. I can't keep watching cuz I can't take that a cannon, that's just impossible for me to fathom. Season seven had its problems before but I was giving it a chance, not anymore. I read spoilers and watch videos like yours and all I see is more disappointment. This used to be my favorite show, I used to recommend it. I've told everyone not to watch it now because it's not worth it.

I really appreciate the way you made sense of jroth and the bad decisions he and his team of writers made. At around 05:00 - the way you gave that senseless script depth and a multi-layered account...thank you. So glad I found your video
  • @kristinholland06
Even the writing with Clarke always worried about Madi this season feels inconsistent with moments like when she didn’t hesitate to leave Madi in Sanctum without a second thought to carelessly jump planets to find ‘her friends’. The writing is garbage this season.

Baby girl...as I have said.....2020 is The Dark Year.....we ain’t talking about this shit after we make it past it.
  • @user-rm4cj7sy6n
Thanks for this I completely agree. Now the plot is taking the characters from A to B, rather than the characters taking the plot where it’s meant to go. I DON’T blame Clarke. The Clarke I knew had let go of her toxic obsession with Madi in S5, all of her S6 development and growth has been thrown out of the window. All the Bellarke progress of S6 was thrown out of the window. They assassinated Clarke’s character because she would have never killed Bellamy, she would have found another way.
  • @Haegemon
Episode 7x14 even ruined Monty. He dedicated most of his years trying to restore life into Earth, and he couldn't. Apparently he was just a moron who couldn't figure the Earth would cure itself just after a couple hundred years of cryostasis.
  • @autumnno9930
Yes I love this video you hit all the points home this is exactly how I felt watching the episode Jason is horrible and he better not get his spin off
  • @2222titia
Stopped watching last season knowing what would happen with bob/bellamy. But I was already out of it since season 5 as I never felt Clarke and Maddy mother,/daughter relationship believable, as the writer didn t really focus on the built of their bond. We went from them meeting e/o to she s my daughter, plus in my opinion Clarke and maddy individually are not warm people and together don t give any true attachment feel. Once Bellamy hugged Maddie it did look more caring than Clarke ever did, Gab playing piano with her was cuter than anything with Clarke. I mean more emotions were going through the screen. About Bellamy of course everything is and feel BS, all this wasn t mean to happen, it is just Jason salty revenge on Bob, feel like he did everything possible to make bellamy death as miserable as possible(from the purpose, the situation, O and Echo reactions...). I only watch reaction videos now, I won t give views to Jason.
  • @melliemsipa4037
I’m also mad that I’ve invested so much time to this show and I care about the other characters too, so I can’t even say that ‘I’m not watching the rest’ ... but hell if they get a cent for it-ima stick to spoilers online so I get my closure and move on to the next trainwreck 2020 brings 🙄
  • @goat1408
Clarke’s behavior is S1 Bellamy times a million.
  • @goat1408
They basically want to “Finn” Bellamy....like he wasn’t there for 7 fucking seasons......like he died...oh well.
  • @katiepontius8983
So I literally agree with EVERY WORD YOU SAID! 👏🏼 I’m so glad I found this channel! (I love twd too!-can’t wait!) Also, your skin is so perfect! - sorry, kinda random!
