Thanks for the video. We went to Acadia this week and visited several of your must-see spots. I don’t know if they were running when you were there but the best way to get around and not fight the traffic is to use the free shuttle system. There are several lines. There are stops at our campgrounds and the visitor center with plenty of RV parking
  • it's pronounced Skoodic, a hard C. When there go to the Pickled Wrinkle in Birch Harbor. Best crab & butter I ever had. Best seafood in Mt Desert Island is Thurston's in Tremont, west side. Beal's in Southwest Harbor is second. They both get lobster right from the local dock as fresh as can be.

Great list! We will be here for 5 months working at the Bar Harbor KOA and can’t wait to explore every inch of the park.
  • We’ve been to Acadia 3 times and the most recent time we went I took your advice and went to schoodic point. Wow Im mad at myself for not making the drive on previous trips. Love it there!

Use the free buses. They get you almost everywhere including trailheads. Sunrise on Cadillac Mountain is magnificent followed by breakfast at Jeanies in Bar Harbor.
