I love how he rhymes "betrayal" with "the nail" in this song. We need more creative rhyming and wordplay in rock music, like they have in hip-hop.

I dont know what the true meaning of this song is but to me its about a man who chooses to stay in a toxic relationship than to face the fear of being alone. Its beautiful and sad at the same time. He succumbs to the evil angel and becomes consumed by the darkness
