Their careers mirrored each other in an almost perfect way. From falling out of the ring at the Royal Rumble together, to winning the main titles at WrestleMania 21 and being the faces of both RAW and SmackDown. They are the peak of what WWE could create in a superstar.

These two are favs of so many Indian kids and teens back in the 2000s. Batista inspired many to hit the gym and was even seen on posters of gyms while Cena became the biggest babyface.

Cena had a lot of great rivalries. Against Edge, Jericho, Shawn, Triple H, Randy and also Batista. The GOAT.

Had the pleasure of seeing both of these guys in person square off at Summerslam in 2008. Such a big part of my childhood both deserve their flowers.

The little boy in me felt something just watching this video. Batista is my all time favourite and I am glad to grow up watching him from evolution days till now.

These guy's WWE careers are absolutely identical. Started in OVW, started in 2002 a month apart, their rise started in 2005 when they both won world championships on the same night at Wrestlemania 21 and the rest is history. While these guys rarely faced each other during the ruthless aggression era, they were faces of it just like Austin and Rock were the attitude era. That's just how I see it.

Glad to see Batista and Cena together again. They were the Austin and The Rock of the Ruthless Aggression Era. Their careers mirrored each other almost perfectly. I grew up watching their matches and still I cherish them.
