Chester is truly missed! I agree he is so much more than the face of depression. He was an amazing soul! Rest easy Chester!
  • For those bashing Sam, you have NO idea what she went through with Chester. Only she does now. And she has a child with Chester and deserves the same respect as Talinda and his other children’s mother. Draven is the spitting image of Chester and Sam is raising him right. Rest In Peace Chester.🙏🏼♥️

I have so much love and respect for Sam & the amazing mother that she is to Dra. Dra absolutely has the best parts of both his parents! Sam has done a remarkable job raising him as a single mom, for the most part, considering he had a new family. It's easy for people to speculate about both sides, but only God and Chester know the whole truth, so let's not rush to judgement, ever. Chester impacted the entire world in so many ways and his legacy will continue to help heal people in our struggle with depression/mental illness. His voice is forever etched in my soul and I'm so grateful that I was able to live at the same time he did. God bless you Sam and Dra as well as all of Chester's immediate and extended family members as well as all his fans worldwide. Be the change that you want to see in the world and #makechesterproud ! #OneLove ♥️🙏🏽#namaste

Well said, he should not be remembered as the face of depression. He will always be so much more through the years of hard work. Peace XX

Oh Samantha & Dra, It was so nice to listen to this and hear and see your faces, to hear about your lives, and how you spent them with Chester. Sam you are so elegant and a professional, full of class lady. I so enjoyed seeing the brief smiles, you both enjoyed while talking about the good memories. Draven is growing up to be so professional and composed himself, as he spoke about the good times between just him and his Father. The two of them together, listening to Chester's music in the car. Draven has stood so tall, and proud through this difficult and very painful year. I applaud you, for raising such a well majored son Sam. I love Draven as if he were my own and with his beautiful, composure and kindness. I thank you so much for doing this interview! Where some LP fans are greatly saddened ourselves, but especially you two for sharing your life and time with him. I respect you both more than words can say. And the end Sam, I had tears burning my face, listening to the afterwards and when you tried to remain strong, but you couldn't contain the sadness, I broke. And that is perfectly fine, and certainly expected. That's the ONLY time I have seen ANYONE out of the whole circle, cry tears of grief. My heart hasn't stopped stinging, since that day it happend. I can only imagine your level of pain and grief. I just wanted to hug you all, through the screen. My deepest and sincere condolences, for you Sam & Dra and your family. I love you both dearly. Always know it's ok to cry. It's just a part of grief and healing. You have to let it out. Much love today and forever with you both. 😭🙏💔💜😘

I am so glad that people are finally speaking out against the destruction of Chesters legacy. No one should be solely defined by an illness physical or psychological. Chester was so much more!!!!

I love when they talked about how chester isn't the face of depression and he's IS so much more... what a hero.. in my and everyone else's life he touched. when Samantha said about chester looking and singing directly into you it really was like that for me and every other devotee fan. glad I found this interview :) hope Samantha/Draven/the interviewer have a good one 🤘🤘🤘

I met Sam accidentally waaaaaaay back in the day. It was just a single instance but she was very nice to me and that always stuck with me. No matter what, both families lost a loved one. That's the hardest part about all of this.
  • @EvanField6380
I really appreciate how honest Chester was about his depression. I watched a interview where he opened up and what he said sounded exactly like me trying to explain to people how I felt. I know it's so hard to make people understand how it feels when you have clinical depression. Everyone knows how much more there was to Chester than just depression, he was a kind, good hearted man and incredible person and I'm glad he was honest about what was going on in his head because he helped me to reach out for help 🙏
  • Chester's wives were very lucky. Imagine being loved by such a man. A man's who's soul was so radiant he's being grieved by millions years after his passing.. 💔💥

Please be nice ppl. Everyone loves and grieves in different ways. Life happens. The POINT is Chester was a VERY complex person, as we ALLLL are.
  • The Bennington’s, I wish you all of the strength and resolve in accepting your grief’s path. No matter where you take that, know that you are never alone on your journey. You always have each other at the very least. I hope that some day soon you will begin recognizing grief as a companion that can be loved - just the same way you love your father/husband. Sending you hopeful blessings. Thank you for sharing your story. 💙

Lovely interview. Draven is so strong and a true soldier. Chester will be proud..miss Chester so much and I cry daily so hats off to Samantha for being a strong mother and being true and showing emotion.
  • @monam.5923
Draven looks and sounds like his father. He will let the Bennington name shine on. Samantha is a very kind soul you can hear it in her voice. Peace to you both. ❤️
  • Samantha and Draven I Love you xoxoxo!!! Your father saved my life. And I will forever be grateful.
  • @KolossalYouth
Some of you all are so unnecessary in these comments. Sam was Chester's wife at some point, get over it. Whatever beef they had, they squashed it before he died. What basis do you all have to be judging her? None.
