2013: “I was a punky teenager, I thought I was gonna be a rockstar…My dad would play Joan Jett.” 2020: Plastic Hearts album with Joan Jett as a collaborator
  • Britney Spears was the only one not shaming Miley during this time. Iconic.

She made 2013 one of my favorite years in my life. The nostalgia
  • if you pay attention, shes branding herself at 20. she knew that disney took advantage of her image. her stardom was huge and she knew about it. that's a lot of power at 20. shes still as talent as she was at 13 as now. this interview came out in 2012-2013 but I am at awe at this women! Good for Miley!!!!

Everyone was saying how crazy she was. Even if she was a 20 year old partying and experimenting (as ALL young adults do) she was a business woman on top of it all and not only that an incredibly talented creative artist
  • She did it all the way to #1 and she did it again 2023 !! Truly an ICON

The bangerz album came out my freshman year of college. I blew my speakers out in my old beat up car to that CD. I’m 27 now and still love and support everything this woman does. We really grew up with her ❤️

I think miley deserves more credit for how she transitioned from country to pop. Forever an icon in my opinion
  • I would like to go back to the first time I saw this, honestly i miss the BANGERZ ERA. 😩💗 thanks for the video.

I miss this era so sososo MUCH, i always hoped that miley would have another era similar to this one, but after ''used to be young'', i accepted that miley will never have an era like the other. this era changed my life, i love bangerz with all my heart. that's where I went from hater to smiler.

"I say I used to be young". Love seeing the transitions shes made. Im so proud of her and her growth. Also the Bangerz was just that a Banger the whole record is incredible!!!
  • @sharhful
Miley has the most supportive family like is that real life?

2013 best summer of my life and a big part of that was Miley’s bangerz era
  • I miss the Bangerz era even though I feel like Miley is still being herself she was so much more connected with us because We've always loved her while the music industry was underestimating all she accomplished during this era. I feel like is so hard to transition from being young coming up to becoming a iconic artist I'm so proud of her
  • pharell seems so amazing, like he understands the importance of a young girl finding herself and didnt limit her creativity. that’s so awesome
  • Watching Miley freak out and then out on a show for fans was so relatable. I'm an entertainer and sometimes you gotta fake it till you feel it.
