This was the show that first introduced me to the Nylons and from the very fist time I heard this version of "The Lion Sleeps Tonight" it automatically became my favourite version
-
I haven’t watched this episode in well over 34 years.

My sister and I used to turn on this show every day, hoping and hoping that this episode would air that day. It was our favorite television alongside David the Gnome. I'm 27 now and the nostalgia from watching this video 5:19 onward, nearly killed me haha. I miss TV like this.

I have been searching for this a loooong time, I couldn't remember the name of the show and I only remembered them singing the lion sleeps tonight! I'm with sweeercherrypieayay, I am 23 now and I've looked for this and asked my mom about this for many years and she found it for me I am very thankful.

Marc Connors, the blonde-haired tenor of the Nylons who sang The Lion Sleeps Tonight, succumbed to AIDS in 1991. He was an amazing singer and is missed by many.
