This is the start of our amazing journey, we found ourselves wanting to travel after watching some videos online and we decided to make a trip to Vancouver. We were lucky enough to find an amazing guide in Ayesha's cousin who showed us around town and graciously hosted us as well.

Places to visit

Granville Island 02:49
A definite must do is Granville Island which is an iconic market in Vancouver known for its fresh produce, fruits and meats. We spent an leisurely afternoon strolling around tasting foods and also caught some of the pride parade. A definite visit while in Vancouver.

Shannon falls 07:00
A beautiful getaway 40 minutes from the city, breathtaking falls and a popular tourist spot; Shannon falls do not disappoint. It offers a hike for the adventurous and scenic spots to load up on some holiday photos.

Sea to sky Gondola 07:41
Breathtaking views; a fun gondola ride, an aerial view of the city and a suspension bridge thrown in for good measure. A fun activity for the gang or the entire family.

Whytecliff 09:46
We wanted to keep this jewel to ourself; a secret spot known only to locals and frequented by seals and orcas alike, be sure to catch a sunset here.

Bowen Island ferry 10:02
the video speaks for itself. From a sunrise to a calm sunset, Bowen will keep you coming back for more of Vancouver

Davie Dosa Company 2:03
is where we caught some lunch on our fist day. Great music on weekends; live DJ and an assortment of healthy south Indian food. A sure win at this place is the vada sambar or the masala dosa. Here is their website daviedosacompany.com/

Hachi Hana:
Although we didn't film the sushi and ramen at this place, the obvious reason being the sushi coma it put us in. The sushi is made fresh with high grade fish sourced locally including sock eye salmon. We tried some basic nigiri and sashimi and this place easily lived up-to the reviews. 49th cafe/parallel 05:40
This spot is normally crowded throughout the week, we suggest giving it a try and indulge your sweet tooth. Here is their website : 49thcafe.com/

Marutama Ramen 06:09
This was by far our must go spot in Vancouver; completely mispronounced it but you will not mince your words when it comes to the ramen here. It is S0000 good; all the broth is a chicken base and most of them come with a pork slice and soy tea steeped egg. We had to grab these to go but the ambience and staff take it to another level. marutama.ca/menus/
