Chubb just had another play like this a couple games ago for the Browns. Rather than get the TD and give the other team a last-second shot at a miracle, he went down at the 1 and guaranteed that the opposing offense never saw field again. Smart, classy, team-first move.

Just as this video got posted, Jared Goff did a smart play by securing an FG with one second left on the clock before the half against TB. They had no timeouts too; it was a spiked ball. This actually proved to be a game-deciding play since LAR won by 3
