I am very interested in a separate video about organising things in OneNote. 🤓👍 This video had some incredibly useful tips, thank you!
  • One shortcut I was missing is pressing Ctrl+1 multiple times. The first one creates the checkbox (as you explained), the second Crtl+1 ticks it off, the third removes the checkmark from the chrckbox again and the fourth Ctrl+1 removes the checkbox tag entirely. I use this is in team meetings to keep track of a shared preparation. Great video as always! I'm also a heavy OneNote user since the beginning and I learnt a lot. Thank you.
  • Would love to see more internal organization tips. I use this for everything and my documentation can start looking a little clunky with the amount of screenshots, links, docs & spreadsheets I keep. Loved all of these quick tips, definitely some gems in there!
  • @Ravenspath
Thank you for great content. A OneNote organization video would be very helpful.

I am a BIG OneNote fan ... use it every day. But I still learned several shortcuts from this video (no surprise) that I think I can put into immediate practice (but I might have to tape a 'Cheat Sheet' to my desk for handy reference). FYI ... Tags are useful ... but for me 'Create Summary Page' is the MOST useful for tying similar points together from different notebooks ... and 'Dictate' can be very handy too! Thank you ... thank you ... thank you ... 😍😍😍 PS I've made this comment before. Many years ago I read a OneNote review that opened with "If you love three ring binders, you will love OneNote". They were right ... I did then and still do today.

I am interested in a video about organization inside OneNote, that would prove to be quite useful.

At 1:08... regarding subpages... you can also click-hold-drag to the right one or more pages to make them subpages of the page above the selection. :-)
  • @KevinChar
Yes, definitely interested for how to organize information in OneNote. Please make a video on it! 🙏

Thanks for this video & really would like to see one on organizing content. 1. What are the pros/cons to using 1 notebook with various section groups vs. multiple notebooks (other than file size)
  • Would love a OneNote organization video! I’ve been piecing little bits of organization tips from tons of videos & Google searches.
  • I am a contract PM and use OneNote heavily. Is the only way to archive is using copy/manual steps. I use custom tags to identify actions, risks, etc. for meetings. I will send a calendar event to OneNote. Take meeting notes and tag certain lines. Unfortunately I have not found a way to have the tag search, search only that page and only for specific tags. I copy the page to a separate section, execute a search, create a summary page, cut out what I want, go back to the orginal, tell OneNote I want to email the page, before I send it our past in the "highlights" and finally hit send.
  • Yes, I want a separate video about organising things in OneNote.
  • Great video. My favourite feature of OneNote is the shortcut CTRL SHIFT S which allows me to select a screenshot when I'm not in OneNote. When I let go the screenshot is stored in OneNote witout any more action on my part.
  • Thanks Leila for this ! Highly appreciated 🙏 Id like the video on how to organize onenote. Maybe a best practice on how to organize it date wise of one topic that gets continued over many days. I struggle with having to manually enter the dates the days I revisit that one topic/page over a period of time in-order to update that topic.
  • My favorite feature is importing meeting details from outlook or teams. I use it everyday and it saves so much time compared to writing it out. I haven’t used the tags much except for the check box. That’s something I’m looking forward to using more of.
  • @CMdJafar
Yes, yes... 😍Looking forward to the separate video about organising in OneNote.
  • @g-paj5430
Great video as usual! Sure would like to see a tutorial on OneNote for Mac
  • Great tool! Using it since Windows 7. Please share more tips on OneNote
