Even though this podcast seemed shortened and mostly political, Joe still managed to mention elk meat, mushrooms , monkeys, and marijuana. Well done.

You don't need to agree with everything someone else believes in order to listen to what they have to say.
  • I love discussions like this . these two people are from radically different backgrounds. They dress differently talk differently and have different outlooks on life. Still, they are respectful to each other and recognize each others opinions. They're even able to laugh together. Interviews like this make me love humanity.

Joe reminds me of my older brother who passed away. He was just so awesome guys. He loved a good conversation, he was so easy to talk to. You'd tell him what you wanted him to know and then he would tell you a short story and the punchline would be so funny that you would forget that you were upset. "I was at the gym & they bought everyone pizza. I could just hear the spandex expanding." Something like that. 😂🤣❤❤😂

This would have been a 2 and a half hour podcast but shapiro speaks naturally at 1.5x.

You gotta give Joe credit he gave the interview a full minute and 12 seconds before mentioning Elk meat
  • @Thomas_Angelo
One of the most entertaining podcast episodes I have ever listened to.

The Beach that Makes You Old debate was wild

Ben talks to Joe like there's an elevator door starting to close between them, and he still has a bunch of stuff to tell him

Joe Rogan, the only interviewer I have seen who has treated both Bernie Sanders and Ben Shapiro as rational human beings. And both of them have risen to the occasion.

The family, religion, basic education, individual initiative, and the rule of law are all critical to the success of a community. The government keeps undermining all aspects of these things.
  • This is how two adults with different points of view should talk. Disagreeing on issues, but talking them through without attacking each other. Figure it out America.

Let’s say hypothetically, for the sake of the argument, shawty was like a melody in my head
  • My takeaway from this informed and respectful exchange of ideas is that both these men are extremely well-read. It's part of both their jobs and has contributed to their open mindedness, but nonetheless their informed opinions stem from the absorption of MANY opinions on the tough questions of our days. Thank guys!
  • 53:42 my new favorite ben shapiro quote: “people are indeed silly!” 😂 no but this is easily my fav interview of ben shapiro. such life brought to the guy who’s usually pretty no bs. his laugh is so hearty! 🤍 and bravo to rogan. he is such a fabulous interviewer and i’ve never understood shapiro more, and i’ve been following him for awhil

Ben did the narration for War and Peace. The audiobook is 11 minutes long.

Joe is more liberal, Ben is more conservative, and yet, we have a polite, adult conversation between the two. Wtf happened to America, where did the politeness, well spoken English, complete sentences, and just etiquettes of a person go. We've all become mindless zombies screaming at each other and completely divided on everything.
  • Ben has an eloquent way in his speaking ability. Loved this podcast. Thank you
