  • When He says "I'm Spider-Man" he sounds like he is crying underneath that mask
  • @Spider-Mate
This scene embodies the line: "Anyone can wear the mask". Jack couldn't climb, he wouldn't. But the moment he puts on that mask, he feels the power, flowing through himself. Yes Peter may have told him to put it on, but this is what I think the director wanted to say in this scene. Hats off to Mark Webb, he truly made an Amazing Spiderman movie.
  • Can we all agree Andrew has the best web shooters? I personally love the little flash of red when he uses them
  • @dramasnake2377
I love how Spider-Man exposed his identity to save this kid
  • @train6258
This is actually the scene where he becomes Spiderman, he realized that with great power comes great responsibility. Before this scene he only wants to avenge his uncles death by becoming Spiderman, but this scene made him Spiderman and a hero. What a fantastic scene

"That person who helps others simply because it should or must be done, and because it is the right thing to do, is indeed without a doubt, a real superhero." -Stan Lee
  • No disrespect to Toby but this Spiderman is my favorite you can feel the pain behind the mask as he watches father and son bond
  • @car10s8D
"You can see him emoting through the mask and he's realizing that he's never gonna have that moment. That moment it was something that was taken from him, and you feel the sort of emotional weight of what it is to be without a father in this world. He's shedding that and becoming the Spider-Man that we all know and love". - Marc Webb, Director of the movie.

What I love about Andrew's Spidey is that he doesn't even care about keeping his identity a secret when it comes to saving people and make them feel relaxed. He truly, truly cares about them. That kid was in panic and really scared, but Andrew still got the balls to show his face to make them realize that he's just a normal guy and that there is nothing to be afraid of. And THAT'S the exact same thing he did in "Spider-Man: No Way Home" when Ned's grandmother was so scared of him when he jumped trough that portal. He puts of his mask so that she sees him for who he truly is and doesn't need to be afraid anymore. Talk about a real hero!

How do people hate this movie? This is why I love it so much. He doesn't become Spider-Man immediately. He goes through a realistic struggle at first coping with loss, revenge, and eventually finally understanding the responsibility that rests on his shoulders.
  • @LoganOnTheRun20
Everything about this scene is perfect The music The CGI The way Spider-Man talks to the kid The acting The way even though the car is falling Spider-Man still gives it his all until the last moment Perfect
  • @_LightningAnime
Something amazing in the scene: When the man asks him "Who are you ?" He responds with: "I'm Spider-Man." But the thing that makes it amazing is listen to his voice....it's not the cocky, one liner shooting, show off who has the confidence of a Superhero but a boy who is scared, a boy who feels so alone, a boy who faces the reality that he'll never have that moment ever again but then learns that making sure no one will feel that same pain as long as he still draws breath is why he was given these powers and why despite the hardships he'll never regret becoming a hero
  • Tobey: Train scene Andrew: This scene Tom: When he was stuck under those rubble
  • @_Lomki
I will always defend tasm movies, they're absolute greatness n overhated
  • Say what you will about Garfield’s Spider-man, but this scene is fantastic.
  • This is what made me love Andrew's Spider-man. Even though he shouldn't take off his mask in front of other people, he decides to take off his mask just so he can save the kid in the car.
  • @laisensei6984
Considering how just a few minutes before this scene, Peter was at the dinner table arguing with Captain Stacy while he pointed out how Spiderman's current motive was more about pursuing his personal vendetta instead of actually helping people, and Peter then proceeded to make a decision between chasing the lizard and saving a kid, I would say this is actually a consistent and brilliant writing, showing how this version of Spiderman managed to gradually step out of the shadow of vengeance and becomes the friendly neighbor we've been expecting.
  • @crispybacon4580
For anyone saying that andrew's spidey is weaker because he wasnt able to hold on to the car, take note that he was literally above flames which makes it almost impossible for him to hold on for a long time
