Why am I at 2 a.m. watching a video of an engineer reacting to a railway in a shooter game about World War I that was released ten years ago, and on top of that, I am enjoying it?

I never though I would grow up to watch a railway engineer lecture me about historical and design accuracy of battlefield's 1 railways.

Another game that might be worth checking for stuff like this is METRO:Exodus, the Aurora(the train) is very important there after all. And I recall many railway focused locales like depots, junctions etc. EDIT Oh dang I just noticed someone else recommend it under Fallout 4, oh well.

Content I didnt know I neede. While having +700hrs on this game, I never looked at the rails in detail. Now I will (in any game that has rails)

Reminding me of the armored train behemoth reminds me of back in the day when I played it on Xbox. I used proper whistle signals, at least for the US. 😂

Can't wait for this to blow up further. Seeing people talk about their real world jobs regarding otherwise innocuous details in a game is such an interesting concept.

Great video! If its possible then will there be a second part? There are a lot more rails in maps like Suez, Volga River and a lot more DLC maps.
