A backdoor is a means of controlling or accessing a remote machine. Basically you give the server owner a mod, that gives YOU control over the server (or plugin). Usually backdoors spread through malware and allow the attackers to connect to your machine and operate it with whatever priviledge the malware was ran with (if you ran the virus as Administrator, then the backdoor will give access on the Administrator level).

A backdoor is like a plugin that is coded to give a certain player all permissions and you cant get banned or anything unless they remove the plugin
