Been working on learning the bow drill. Today I got my second ever ember with a choke cherry spindle and hickory hearth. The video is edited t o start after my first attempt today failed. Wearing my new HPG Original Kit bag and it was superb!

Excellent. Nicely done! Bonus points as Cherry and Hickory aren't typically the easiest wood choices to go with when first starting out.
