I've been to Hawks games and his pre-game shooting routine is pretty interesting. He actually does practice all this stuff he's saying/showing in this video and a lot more as well.

Form shooting 3 ft from the rim is so important. Make 50 from 3 ft and 50 from 7 to 8ft as warmups and you'll see the difference
