so i was scrolling through mlp speedpaints boredly when i had an idea. what if the mane 5 stayed as the switched elements all the way back in magical mystery cure. do with this what you will i just drew the thought.

    In another world, though strange, these destinies were never different. Rarity was the first weather pony of unicorn kind. Apple Jack found an eye for fashion, leaving her family farm to peruse it. Rainbow Dash found comfort in the company of birds. Apple Jack’s cousin, Pinkamena Pie, looked after Sweet Apple Acres in her stead, and Fluttershy made a career in magic tricks and silly skits on stage. But then, there was Twilight Sparkle. A dear friend to all five of them, a unicorn with a knack for books. One day, for no determinable reason, she claimed it was all wrong. Their destinies were different, she said, and things weren’t how they were supposed to be. She couldn’t accept a unicorn being a weather pony, or that the quiet Rainbow Dash was good with animals at all. They each worried for her, slowly drifting away from their friend. They couldn’t understand what had changed. Twilight had known them as they are for so long, so why and how had it suddenly seemed incorrect to her? How could she see anything different if nothing had changed? If only they knew.
