I’m 38, ive rode bmx my entire life. If you grew up in my era the staple black-white/gum with the told samba on the side were and still are a staple in the bmx and skateboarding community. Always go a half size up in Sambas if you have wide feet and when adjusting the laces, make sure you adjust so they are much wider than any normal shoe. I have super wide feet so I adjust the laces on the front of shoe and leave them very wide as it slows them to fit better and also looks wayyy better than having them tied tight. After setting my laces to the perfect width on the shoe then tie them and pull them over the tongue as they look soo much better without seeing the laces tied on the outside of the shoe. So wide feet is when you should size up and especially because I can wear a 10 in vans that tie all day long but a 10 in sambas my toe is almost touching the tip of the shoe. Also besides the 28-29 years I’ve never not had a pair of sambas, sambas and the black checkered vans slip-ons have always been a staple for me also. The slip on vans I have to rock a 10 1/2 even though in every pair of vans with laces I can easily wear a 10, I can’t even get a new pair of vans slip-ons on my feet when they are new. Not a chance in hell. Fuck trends. Anyone my age knows how anyone who rides bmx or skates knows how amazing these shoes feel as you can feel your petals and you can feel a board soo much easier than any other shoe allowing for much easier feel, which helps soo much when riding or skating everyday and especially when learning new tricks!

How's the sizing compared to Nike Killshot 2 or New Balance 550s?
  • @jonr3946
Found these at ross for 37.99, keep a look out for them
  • So why does adidas recommend to go half size down sizing is very confusing some say go up half some say true to size
  • @SuperSun_21
As wide feet guy, definitely go up half size!!! Otherwise your toes would feel uncomfy after few hours of wear
  • @c11p
Just grabbed my size on StockX for under retail ($80)

hello bro can u make a fit for a ,,fat'' guy under 150$?
  • @vnemchev
Every time I have bought adidas they were too small. So go half/one size up I guess.

I would say if you are wide feet guy just simply don’t buy it. Too narrow sole , and it’s hard - so it will cut you feet from inside
