Michael Romeo is the John Williams of Progressive Metal. In a parallel universe, Symphony X would have won a Grammy for The Odyssey, and Hollywood would have been clamoring to get Michael to write scores for their films.

01-01-2024 Still the best musical composition ever existed. The entire band includes abnormal (amazing) people. When I was young I was impressed by M.R artistry and I am still so to this day, which means what he does is timeless and belongs to the realm of the perfect existence.

Had a friend in Canada who demanded I go listen to this band while they were in town, so I threw on some clothes, got in the car, drove to the club, managed to get in--packed venue--and then they played this as their encore. I fell in love. Triumphant champions of Ithaca, you own a special place in my heart forever 💖
