As someone with a binge eating disorder the power of “I don’t lack the education I lack the motivation” & “I replaced one addiction for another” absolutely hit my heart 😩😩 I love this show

Josh really has elevated the interview game--getting people to talk about their own mortality isn't always an easy ask. But the bomb food, and the thought-provoking questions go together like pastrami and chili cheese fries.

No matter how much weight Gabriel loses, he'll always be "Fluffy." He's so genuine, so real. He understands that humor is a unifying force, and enjoys life that way. I'm just a little surprised there was no chocolate cake.

I doubt you’ll ever see this, Gabriel, but my husband met you while he was working some years ago and you gave him such a generous donation which made us survive for that month. I wish I could find the photo of you two since it’s been years.
My husband passed away earlier this year. I’m really struggling but this episode made me smile, how grateful and happy you are to be alive. (And spam is my childhood food too!!) Much needed, thank you Mythical Kitchen! -

By far one of my favourite mythical kitchen eps overall. Gabriel is such a sweet, genuine , hilarious person and I love how much he was enjoying his meals with josh. Just absolutely wholesome and wonderful

I love this show and Hot Ones because they are actual interviews where people can be themselves and answer questions that are not cookie cutter and monotonous.

Changed my opinion on Iglesias from 'funny guy I see a lot' to genuinely cool dude. Josh, you and your team are doing a great job dissecting people and the questions around death. Such a great series from a group of people who didn't have to work this hard for my devotion. Congrats on producing such killer content that both entertains and enlightens!

Gabriel is such an engaging performer. I had the pleasure of seeing him in a very small event space in Riverside, Iowa while he was essentially taking his next album's material through a test run. Even though we were a small town with a small crowd, when I heard the final album later, it was clear he hadn't toned anything down just because we weren't a huge audience. Every show is THE show. He's truly passionate and talented and great and I love him.

This needs more views. Having people on your show and feeding them their FAVORITE comfort foods is a genius tactic to then ask them questions! They are already in a good mood from the food so the answers are great as well! This deserves to be as big as Hot Ones!

This is one of the best episodes and not just because it’s Gabriel and he’s great. It’s just how inspirational and profound he can be. He’s one of if not the most relatable guest.
