Bambie was studying ballet until an injury happened and they transferred to a theatrical performance course, then started singing and songwriting and also plays piano as can be seen in the intimate performance video of 'Doomsday Blue' done live on RTE TV

The staging and camera work were epic too. Bambi is from cork which is a very lyrical accent. They trained as a ballet dancer. They also co wrote the song. Love will always triumphs hate - im all for that

By far the sickest performance I've ever seen in Eurovision. Obsessed with her ever since the semi-finals. Amazing vocalist, amazing scene presence.

Of course a Kiwi gets it! 😄 Bambie was giving us Maleficent while conjuring the monster-boyfriend. The changes in lighting accompanied the change in music genre, changing the appearance of the performers. And something even more rare: they didn't try to merely copy their music video on stage, they came up with a completely new performance that nevertheless captured the essence of the music video. And, Thank You for offering us insight into the actual vocal techniques being used. It shows just what actually went into this performance. I find so many people's … reactions … to Doomsday Blue to be nothing but concentrated, distilled hatred, and utterly disrespectful. Having you, an expert in singing, show us what lies behind a performance like this is so refreshing.

Whether you love them or hate them, you cannot deny Bambie's talent.

I am happy that my country Azerbaijan is one of the countries that ranked it high in the list. Our juries gave 10 points and from televote it was 4 points. I never thought we could appreciate something like this. This performance is one of a kind. Eurovision has never seen such a thing. ❤️
